Terms & Disclaimer
These terms cover the use of this website and the surface protection services provided by Masori across South East Queensland. Please read them before booking, and contact us if anything is unclear.
About these terms
1.1Masori (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an architectural surface protection service and a division of Protect Wraps. We supply and install stone benchtop protection film, interior window tinting and glass ceramic coating as a mobile service across South East Queensland, from Noosa in the north to Tweed Heads in the south.
1.2By requesting a quote, paying a deposit or engaging us to perform services, you (“the client”, “you”) agree to these terms and conditions. They apply to every booking unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Using this website
2.1The information on this website is provided in good faith and for general guidance only. While we work to keep it accurate and current, we make no guarantee that everything is complete or error free.
2.2Product descriptions, finishes, coverage options and timeframes shown on this site are indicative and may change without notice. Photographs are illustrative of the type of work we perform.
Quotes & pricing
3.1Any prices or estimates discussed are guides only until we confirm a written quote for your specific surfaces and the coverage you choose.
3.2A confirmed quote is based on the measurements, materials and site details you provide. It may be adjusted if the surfaces, their condition or site access differ on inspection – we will always discuss any change with you before proceeding.
3.3The validity period for each written quote will be stated on the quote.
Bookings & deposits
4.1All bookings require a deposit of 20% of the quoted price to secure your installation date. The deposit is applied toward your final balance.
4.2We will confirm your installation date and the expected duration before you book. Timeframes are estimates and can vary with the scale of the project, site conditions and preparation needs; we will let you know promptly if anything changes.
4.3If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Any rescheduling conditions will be stated in your written quote or booking confirmation.
Payment
5.1We accept payment by cash, card or bank transfer.
5.2The balance of your invoice is due on completion of the work, on the day of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.3For projects with a duration of more than one week, progress payments apply. The payment stages will be set out in your quote and agreed before work commences.
Working in your home or venue
Masori is a fully mobile service – all work is performed on site, inside occupied homes, apartments and commercial venues. The following conditions protect your property, our installers and the quality of the finished work.
6.1Access. You agree to provide clear, safe access to the work areas at the agreed time, including parking or loading access reasonably close to the property, and building or lift access where relevant.
6.2Preparing the space. Work surfaces must be cleared of appliances, utensils, décor and personal items before we arrive. Please remove or relocate fragile, valuable or irreplaceable items – artwork, ornaments, heirlooms and the like – from the immediate work area. We take great care in your space, including the use of protective coverings where appropriate, but we cannot accept responsibility for items left within the work zone that could reasonably have been moved.
6.3Site conditions. We require access to power and adequate lighting, and a work environment reasonably free of dust and building works in progress. Surfaces to be treated must be sound, clean and fully cured – including any recently applied stone sealers, silicones or renders – and we may defer installation where conditions would compromise the result.
6.4Household. For everyone’s safety and the quality of the finish, we ask that children and pets are kept clear of the work area for the duration of the installation and any curing period we advise.
6.5Pre-existing condition. Existing chips, scratches, etching, staining or repairs present in your surfaces will be noted at consultation or before work begins. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for defects in the underlying surface that become visible through an optically clear film or coating.
6.6Occupied sites. Where work is performed in operating venues (hotels, showrooms, boutiques and similar), you are responsible for managing staff, guests and trading activity around the work area as we advise.
Care & maintenance
Correct care keeps your surfaces looking their best and is a condition of our workmanship warranty. We provide tailored aftercare guidance on completion; the essentials for each service are set out below.
7.1 – Stone protection film
Clean regularly with pH-neutral products and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use abrasive pads, powders, solvents or harsh chemicals on the film.
Never place hot cookware – pots, pans, oven trays or similar – directly on the film; always use trivets or heat mats. Use coasters under glassware and bottles. Wipe spills promptly, particularly red wine, citrus, oils and other staining or acidic substances.
Do not leave tap water sitting on the film. Standing water that dries on the surface can and will mark it with calcium-type spots; wipe the surface dry after cleaning or splashes. Do not cut directly on the film. Fine surface marks in the self-healing top-coat will typically recover with gentle warmth.
7.2 – Interior window film
Allow the film to cure for the period specified in your aftercare instructions before the first clean. Clean with a soft cloth and mild, ammonia-free solution only; never use scrapers, abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, and do not adhere stickers, suction cups or tape to filmed glass.
7.3 – Ceramic coated glass
Coated glass must be cleaned regularly with pH-neutral products to maintain its performance and appearance. Avoid strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners and abrasives.
Rinse pool fencing after heavy chlorine or salt exposure, and squeegee or towel-dry shower screens after use where practical. Avoid letting hard water dry on the coated surface, as mineral deposits can build up on any glass over time.
Warranty
8.1We stand behind our installation with a workmanship warranty covering installation defects such as lifting, peeling or bubbling attributable to our workmanship. The applicable warranty period and coverage will be stated in your written quote or warranty documentation.
8.2Film and coating products may also carry manufacturer warranties against defects such as yellowing, cracking or delamination. Where applicable, these are passed on to you, and full manufacturer warranty terms are available on request.
8.3Warranties assume the surfaces are cared for as set out in section 7. They do not cover damage from accident, impact, misuse or neglect, heat damage, abrasive or chemical cleaning, movement or failure of the underlying surface or building, alterations or repairs by third parties, or fair wear and tear.
Insurance
9.1Masori holds public liability insurance with cover of up to $20 million, covering our legal liability in connection with the performance of our services.
9.2Clients must hold their own current home and contents insurance, or commercial property insurance, for the property in which they engage us to work. Our public liability cover protects against our legal liability only – it is not a substitute for your own property insurance, and by booking you confirm that appropriate cover is in place.
Protection & results
10.1Protection film, window film and ceramic coatings reduce the risk of damage from scratches, etching, staining, UV and everyday wear. They do not make a surface damage-proof, and results vary with use, environment and care.
10.2Natural stone varies in colour, veining, porosity and finish. Optically clear film preserves the appearance of the surface beneath it; matte film will soften a polished finish, as discussed at consultation. Minor visual characteristics inherent to film installation over natural materials – such as at edges, joins and cut-outs – are normal and are not defects.
Limitation of liability
11.1To the extent permitted by law, Masori is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our services, and our liability for any claim is limited to re-performing the relevant services or rectifying the relevant work.
11.2Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which applies in addition to any warranty we provide.

12.1The content, branding and images on this website are owned by or licensed to Masori and Protect Wraps and may not be reproduced without permission.

13.2We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with service providers who help us operate (such as email and booking systems) and where required by law, and is held securely only for as long as needed for the purposes above.
