Stone benchtop protection
Optically clear, self-healing stone protection film for marble, granite, engineered and natural stone – professional benchtop protection film installation, carried out on site in your kitchen, from Noosa to Tweed Heads.
What it is
An invisible layer of surface protection film
Masori installs a premium TPU urethane surface protection film over stone – the same self-healing technology trusted on Australia’s most expensive automotive paintwork, refined here for kitchen benchtop protection. It bonds cleanly to the surface, follows every edge and cut-out, and disappears.
Choose gloss to preserve a polished face, or matte to soften it toward honed. As a natural stone protection film it suits honed marble and textured granite as readily as polished engineered surfaces – and it can be professionally removed or replaced panel by panel, without harming the stone beneath.

Materials
Made for marble, granite & engineered stone
Marble protection film
Marble is beautiful and unforgiving – soft enough to scratch, porous enough to stain, quick to etch under lemon and wine. Marble benchtop protection preserves the honed or polished face you fell in love with, without the ritual of constant sealing.
Granite benchtop protection film
Granite shrugs off a lot, but its polish still scratches and oils still shadow. A granite benchtop protection film keeps the depth in that polish through years of boards, bottles and daily use.
Engineered & natural stone
From quartz-based engineered surfaces to travertine and limestone, every natural stone protection film installation is templated to the exact slab – edges, radii and cut-outs included – with natural stone scratch protection for honed and tumbled finishes.
Why protect
Protect marble benchtops from the life of a kitchen
The same shield that lets you protect stone benchtops in a family home stands up to trade traffic in a commercial one – and lets you protect granite benchtops without changing how they look. Here is what the film takes, so your stone doesn’t.
Scratches
A scratch-resistant benchtop film with a self-healing top coat puts a protective layer between everyday objects and polished stone. Fine surface marks can recover with gentle warmth, helping hard-working islands keep their finish.
Etching & stains
Lemon, vinegar, wine and oils are what dull marble first. The film intercepts acids and pigments before they reach the stone – spills wipe away instead of soaking in or etching the polish.
Impact & chips
Impact protection matters most at benchtop edges, corners and around sinks. The urethane layer cushions the knocks and drops that can chip bare stone, helping exposed edges retain a clean, crisp finish.
Every surface
Protection extends beyond flat benchtops to kitchen islands, waterfall ends, splashbacks, feature walls and vanities. Each area receives carefully planned coverage, with the same attention to edges, cut-outs and the character of the stone.
Finish 01
Gloss
Optically clear over a polished surface – the mirror stays a mirror. The film reads as the stone itself, with the light still moving through the veining.
Finish 02
Matte
Softens a polished face toward honed – a quiet, contemporary finish that also plays down fingerprints and glare. Some clients choose it for exactly that reason.
We bring samples of both finishes to every consultation – seen on your own stone, in your own light.
Residential & commercial
Where it goes to work
Homes, apartments & penthouses
Luxury home stone protection for kitchens that host as hard as they work, and apartment stone benchtop protection coordinated with builders and body corporates. We handle marble protection for apartments at handover, and stone protection for penthouses where every surface is part of the architecture.
Home stone benchtop protection is our bread and butter – most kitchens are templated, filmed and finished within a single day.
Residential enquiryHotels, showrooms & boutiques
Commercial stone protection built for front-of-house: hotel stone protection across foyer islands and bars, and reception counter protection film where luggage, keys and card-taps land all day. We provide stone surface protection for showrooms and display plinths, stone protection for boutiques and retail counters, and apartment foyer stone protection for residential towers.
For glazed shopfronts and partitions, a commercial surface protection film completes the specification.
Commercial enquiryStone protection film installation
Installed in a day, made to disappear
Every project is a complete benchtop protection film installation carried out in place – no removal, no downtime beyond the install itself. From marble protection film installation on a single island to granite benchtop protection film installation across a working venue, every surface protection film installation follows the same four stages.
Consultation
We assess your surfaces, finishes and how the space is used, then recommend the right film, finish and coverage.
Templating
Every edge, radius and cut-out is measured and templated, cut to tolerance before film meets stone.
Installation
Certified installers apply and finish each panel by hand on site – most kitchens completed within a day.
Aftercare
Clear care guidance, a workmanship warranty, and support from the same team who installed it.
Planning a renovation or a new build? Kitchen benchtop protection installation slots neatly between the stone install and handover – the surfaces are protected before the first box is unpacked.

Common questions
Stone protection, answered
Is the film really scratch resistant?
Yes – it is engineered as marble benchtop scratch protection and stone benchtop scratch protection for real kitchen use. The urethane layer absorbs the everyday wear that dulls bare stone, and its self-healing top coat releases fine marks with gentle warmth. A deep gouge from a dropped knife is what panel replacement is for – far simpler than re-polishing stone.
Can I put hot pots and pans on the film?
No – hot cookware should never be placed directly on the film. Always use trivets or heat mats, and coasters under glassware. Full care guidance is provided on completion and set out in our terms.
Will it change how my stone looks?
Gloss film is optically clear and preserves a polished finish. Matte film softens a polished surface toward a honed appearance – some clients choose it for exactly that reason. We bring samples to every consultation so you can see both on your own stone.
Does it work beyond the kitchen?
Yes. Benchtop surface protection extends to bathroom vanities, laundries, bar tops and stone furniture, and stone surface protection covers feature walls and fireplace surrounds – anywhere stone takes daily contact.
